How to Enroll in Adrian’s College

We make the admissions and enrollment process as easy as possible. Our admissions team is on hand to help you every step of the way. If you have any questions about this process, contact us.

Follow these steps to start your beauty journey:

1. Schedule a Campus Tour

Visiting one of our campuses in Modesto or Tracy is the best way to experience Adrian’s College firsthand. You’ll have an opportunity to explore our facilities, observe live classroom sessions, and meet some of our instructors and current students. You can schedule a tour by contacting the admissions team.

2. Complete Your Application

Completing the application is the first official step in your journey at Adrian’s College! If you are unsure about any of the questions on the application form, we can assist you.

3. Submit Required Documents

Prior to enrolling, you’ll need to provide proof of secondary education (high school diploma or GED) and a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport). These documents are necessary per state requirements.

4. Explore Financial Aid Options

Don’t let financial concerns stand in the way of your dreams. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. We encourage students to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as a way to determine what federal loans or grants may be available to them. When submitting your FAFSA, include the school code #007187. Adrian’s Beauty College of Tracy is a branch of North Adrian’s College of Beauty and uses the same code for financial aid purposes.

5. Meet With Admissions

All students are required to have a one-on-one meeting with our admissions team. During this time, we’ll review your application, discuss your chosen program, and answer any questions you might have. We’ll also complete an applicant interview where we learn more about you and how we can help you succeed in your program.

6. Attend Orientation

Once you are admitted to the school, your admissions advisor will let you know when you can attend an orientation event. These events last 1-2 hours and will help you get familiar with the facilities and set expectations for your time at the school.

That’s it! Ready to take the first step? We look forward to seeing you on one of our campuses soon!

FAQs About Our Admission and Enrollment

How old do I have to be to enroll in your beauty school?

Applicants must be 17 years old and prove they’ve completed their secondary education. In the state of California, you must be 17 or older to sit for the state licensing exam.

Can I tour the campus before I apply?

Yes! We encourage it. A campus tour is often the best way to know if a school is a good fit for you. Our team is happy to show you around, answer your questions, and tell you more about our programs. We offer flexible tour times, so contact us today to schedule one.

Can I transfer to Adrian's College from another beauty school?

A student, who wants to transfer from another college or wants the College to accept hours from a previous enrollment at another Beauty College, must follow all procedures. The school must have an Official Academic Transcript with completed hours, test scores, and state requirements in their possession before a transfer appointment will be scheduled. A potential student can expect to pay a $500 fee for an evaluation exam to determine the hours to be accepted for enrollment.

The full process is listed in our School Catalog. The most up-to-date version can be found on our consumer disclosures page.

I'm a student here and I love it! I've tried other schools and they weren't as thorough. Most only focused on passing board. Adrian's not only focuses on that you can pass state board testing, but they also make sure you have the skills to succeed in the salon and beauty industry!
