General FAQs

How big are the classes?

Class sizes typically range from 5 to 10 students, depending on the start date. This smaller class size ensures you get more personalized attention from our educators and more opportunities for hands-on training in our student salon, where all services are provided by students under the supervision of licensed instructors.

Is job placement assistance offered?

Yes, Adrian’s College provides job placement assistance to help graduates find opportunities in the beauty industry. While we can’t guarantee placement, we offer resources like resume building, interview preparation, and industry connections to support your job search.

How much does beauty school cost?

Tuition costs vary depending on the program and eligibility for financial aid. We’ll discuss these details during your campus tour so you have a clear understanding of costs and available resources.

What if I do not pass the State Board?

If you don’t pass the State Board exam, Adrian’s College offers complimentary support to help you prepare to resit the test. Schedule an appointment with our team to get personalized support and prepare for your next test date.

What is the pass/fail rate or job placement percentage?

How do I know how much financial aid I qualify for?

The best way to determine how much financial aid you qualify for is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application can give you access to federal grants and subsidized loans to finance your education. All students are strongly encouraged to fill it out.

Do you have to have a high school diploma to enroll?

Yes, a high school diploma or GED is required for enrollment. If you have questions about meeting this requirement, talk to our admissions team.

Can I just do hair?

As a licensed cosmetologist, you’ll be trained in hair, skin, and nails. However, once licensed, you can choose to focus exclusively on hair if that’s your passion. Alternatively, our barbering program may be a good fit if you want to focus on hairstyling. Talk to our admissions team to learn more about these programs.

I'm a student here and I love it! I've tried other schools and they weren't as thorough. Most only focused on passing board. Adrian's not only focuses on that you can pass state board testing, but they also make sure you have the skills to succeed in the salon and beauty industry!
